During the Spanish American War in 1901, church bells rang in Balangiga in the Philippines to signal an attack against American troops. The bells were seized as war trophies and brought to what is now F.E. Warren Air Force Base. Secretary of Defense James Mattis has decided to return the bells to the Philippines, over the objections of Wyoming’s congressional delegation and veterans groups. The Secretary says it is time to let go of those dark days and remove a needless barrier between friends.

They claim Mark D’Amico and Katelyn McClure conspired with Johnny Bobbitt to defraud people out of more than $400,000. Wyoming hunting, fishing licenses good for year from date of purchase

Winter Storm Watch For SE Wyoming Friday Night, Saturday

CHEYENNE — The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has posted a winter storm watch for southeast Wyoming starting on Friday night and going through the day on Saturday.

The area covered by the watch includes all of Laramie and Albany counties. The cities of Cheyenne, Laramie, and Torrington are included in the winter storm watch.  Click here for more

WyHy Federal Credit Union breaks ground on expansion

CHEYENNE — WyHy Federal Credit Union leadership celebrated the official start of a 4,000-square-foot facility expansion during a ceremony Thursday.

In about a year, the 1715 Stillwater Ave. location in Cheyenne will be an automated, 14,000-square-foot operation equipped with video communication between employees and customers, tablets, online signature-based document systems and cash recycling machines. A new system will also introduce virtual banking, text messaging alerts and more communication options.
