Posted 8-9-18, Office of the Laramie County Clerk (CHEYENNE) – The Laramie County Clerk today announced the temporary relocation of a vote center for the Primary Election.
County Clerk Debra Lee said her office received notification from Laramie County School District #1 that Storey Gym, which is undergoing renovations, will not be available by Primary Election Day on Aug. 21. The vote center is being relocated to the school district auditorium, located directly across from Storey Gym.
“Unanticipated construction delays at the gym forced us to find an alternative location for the Primary Election Vote Center. We determined the auditorium would be most convenient for voters,” said Lee.
The Clerk’s office will have signage directing voters to the auditorium, located in the Laramie County School District administration building at 2810 House Avenue.
Lee reminds voters they are free to vote in any of the 13 vote centers in the county on Election Day.
